Latest update of the high-risk third countries list, effective as from October

On the 7th of May, the EU announced an update of the high-risk third countries list, effective as from October 2020. Countries that will be added to the list are:
  • The Bahamas
  • Barbados
  • Botswana
  • Cambodia
  • Ghana
  • Jamaica
  • Mauritius
  • Mongolia
  • Myanmar
  • Nicaragua
  • Panama
  • Zimbabwe
  The EU plans to de-list a few countries that were previously included on the list. Countries to be de-listed are:
  • Bosnia-Herzegovina
  • Guyana
  • Tunisia
  • Ethiopia
  • Lao People’s Democratic Republic
  • Sri Lanka
